You love perfecting your pout with a pop of color, but hate reapplying through your day?  Well, so do I.  Check out these tips on how you can achieve this feat.

Exfoliate your lips and hydrate them with a lip balm.  If you intend on adding lip color directly after lip balm, blot with a tissue.

Before applying your color, use a lip primer, specifically one that smoothes and plumps the skin.

Pop for sheen, as matte colors (marketed as long-wearing) tend to dry out the lips.

Go for bolder colors.  These have more pigment and thereby last longer.

Use a lip pencil.  Line and fill in those lips before adding any lipstick, as it will give you an extra layer of color.  As I stated, the more pigment, the longer it will last.

Now go and get those lips rouged and ready!
